Uterine Blood Supply
The ovaries recieve signals from the pituitary gland in the brain, then produce steroids Estrogen and Progesterone which hydrate and build up the glandular tissue inside of the endometrium. Here we see the rich blood supply of the uterus and ultimately how the blood is enriching the endometrium. The arcuate artery, Uterine artery & vein, Vaginal Artery and Vein are illustrated here.
