Endometriosis

Endometriosis

What is Endometriosis? In short, it is when the cells of the endometrial lining are misplaced, settling outside of the uterus itself. Common locations for these misplaced cells are on the fallopian tubes, ovaries, bladder and colon.

This image was created to be an antidote to typical image searches for female reproductive anatomy. Excellent for midwives, doulas, uterine massage groups, moon circles, red tent gatherings, body work courses and doctors offices.
